AhlulBayt News Agency: The Hamas Movement strongly denounced the Israeli army for desecrating hundreds of graves in a cemetery east of Gaza City during a recent operation to search for the remains of a soldier.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a Tuesday statement that the Israeli forces had committed “a new crime” by violating the sanctity of numerous graves while searching for the body of their last missing soldier, showing no respect for human, legal, or moral principles.
Qasem added that such actions have been repeated many times throughout what he described as the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
He stated that this “moral and legal collapse” of the Israeli entity and its military stems from the international community’s failure to hold it accountable for its unprecedented crimes.
Qasem also noted that Israeli forces killed four Palestinians on Tuesday morning outside the so‑called “yellow line” east of Gaza City, stressing that the war against Palestinians in Gaza continues without pause.
